Neil Ingram recently retired from the School of Education in the University of Bristol, where he helped to train new secondary science teachers. He was been part of a 16-19 curriculum review for the Royal Society of Biology.
He is interested in Natural History and curates the Stories From Nowhere Wood microsite.
He is interested in the use of technology in education, especially AI. He is a member of the Advisory Panel for AI in Education.
Neil has a PhD in genetics from the early days of genetic engineering and taught biology and psychology in schools, before becoming an academic in the University of Bristol. He developed a unit on Genetics, Society and Education for the School of Education in the University of Bristol.
